Given the abundant local plant life, agricultural communities and knowledgeable practitioners, the Kootenay region is an ideal place to celebrate all things herbal. The Creston Valley is home to organic dairies, rich orchards and other businesses that foster the spirit of plant medicine.

 

An offshoot of the Greenheart Herbal Society, the Creston Valley Herb Gathering Society formed in 2013 - specifically to host the Kootenay Herb Conference. The conference has been in the making for several years, as a result of the successful Herbal Practitioner program taught by Rachel Beck at College of the Rockies.
